Thaba Tsweni Lodge – Two bedroom Chalet
Description
This 2-bedroom unit has a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and 2 three-quarter beds in the second bedroom. An extra bed for a child under the age of 12 years is available on request at an additional charge. The bathroom is fitted with both a shower and bath. There is also a lounge with fireplace, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, there is a braai facility for guests to make use of.
Thaba Tsweni Lodge, meaning ‘mountain of the baboon’ in Sesotho, is situated in the Blyde River Canyon area of the Mpumalanga Drakensberg Mountains and forms part of the Mpumalanga Panorama route.
The self-catering chalets have their own gardens with braai facilities and secure undercover parking. Each fully equipped chalet has a lounge with fireplace and TV with local channels. The chalets have either a full dining room or dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a stove, electric frying pan, microwave and coffee percolator. All bathrooms have both a shower and a bath. Wood for the fireplace as well as oil heaters are provided to fend off the cool air at nighttime.
All you need to bring is your clothes, food and beach towels while the rest are supplied, including a daily cleaning service. A laundry service is available at a nominal fee. Airport transfers from Hoedspruit and Mbombela (Nelspruit) will be arranged for you on request.
This family owned and managed lodge is well situated to many world famous tourist attractions such as The Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondawels, God’s Window and Pilgrims Rest. The lodge is within walking distance from the Berlin Waterfalls, 10 km from Graskop and 30 km from the town of Sabie with their many and varied, restaurants and curio shops. Thaba Tsweni Safaris, which is part of the Thaba Tsweni group, organizes tours and day trips to all these attractions with a qualified tourist guide.
