A beautiful stylised hand-painted mural of a protea flower and sunbird is a delightful feature of African Icon, reminding you of Cape Town’s unique flora. The mural’s colours are picked up in cushions and throws over the queen-size bed, which is dressed with quality white linens – very inviting! There is a shower bathroom. The open-plan design of this chic holiday flat gives the feeling of openness and cosiness at the same time!

A comfy leather L-shaped sofa next to the sliding doors to the Juliette balcony faces the TV which has the full range of South African satellite channels. The neatly designed kitchen has it all; washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and full crockery and cutlery, pots and pans. You could create a gourmet meal here, but I suspect you will want to eat out at Cape Town’s many excellent and great value restaurants.
