Highlands Corner is a pet-friendly, spacious self-catering holiday home located in the Highlands Meander area of Mpumalanga, within the Highland Springs Country Estate. Accommodating seven guests, the house has three bedrooms with scenic views of the big dam and Highveld countryside. It’s easily accessible from the Dullstroom/Emakhazeni N4 off-ramp, with a well-maintained dirt road suitable for vehicles with higher ground clearance. The holiday home features a main bedroom with a queen-sized bed and en-suite shower, a second bedroom with two single beds, and a third bedroom with three single beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath/shower combo. The open-plan lounge/kitchen area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a gas/electric stove, electric oven, fridge, microwave, and various cooking utensils. The stoep area offers a game table, an honesty bar, and comfortable seating. Highlands Corner welcomes up to four small to medium dogs, with a well-fenced garden and amenities such as doggy furniture covers. The property provides undercover parking for two cars. Firewood is supplied for the fireplaces, with additional firewood available upon request. Guests can enjoy activities like hiking, mountain biking, picnics, and birding. The estate has three dams being rehabilitated for bass fishing. The house is equipped with rechargeable LED lamps and load-shedding light bulbs, and the tap water is safe to drink, sourced from underground springs. Smoking is allowed only on the stoep.
