- House Rules Please note at all times that the lodges are not fenced off from the surrounding reserve environment. Leopard, rhino and buffalo are found on Nooitverwacht and are able to wander freely throughout the reserve and lodge areas. Venomous snakes and scorpions are found on the property, please be aware at all times and wear closed shoes at night when walking around the camp. All guests that enter this reserve and make use of the facilities offered to them are to do so entirely at their own risk. Under no circumstances are guests to walk around the lodges at night unaccompanied by a member of staff or security. Nooitverwacht is situated in a low-risk malaria area.
